Phil Stern Honored at the Beverly Hills Film Festival
Pushing yet another rare photo into the spotlight, the Beverly Hills Film Festival (BHFF) reflects on the incomparable moment captured here during another successful year at the festival.
Producer/Director Brett Ratner was asked to present the Living Legends Award to acclaimed photographer Phil Stern, who is known for capturing iconic images of Marilyn Monroe, Frank Sinatra, James Dean, Marlon Brando, and many other legendary figures.
The founder and president of the Beverly Hills Film Festival, Nino Simone, created both the first and last opportunity for Phil Stern to be publicly celebrated under the spotlight. The legendary photographer passed away on December 13, 2014, and the BHFF was honored to pull the man behind the camera into the foreground of appreciation for the first time.
