Beverly Hills is conveniently located to downtown Los Angeles, the L.A. Convention Center, Los Angeles International Airport, Century City, and most other major sites in the region. The city is also just a few minutes’ drive from the Pacific Ocean and less than an hour from virtually every visitor attraction in Southern California including Hollywood, the Getty Center, Disneyland and Universal Studios Hollywood.

Accommodation in Beverly Hills is a unique experience. Star treatment is par for the course, guest may enjoy a cool beverage, poolside or from the luxurious surroundings of their hotel room or suite. The area offers both large resort-type lodging and smaller boutique hotels that make for an unforgettable stay. Local restaurants allow for exquisite dining and the shopping choices are at some of the most exclusive stores and boutiques in the world.

Wolfgang Puck

Awash in his trademark white color scheme, architect Richard Meier (Getty Center) eschews both the dim lighting and dark-leather booths of traditional steakhouses, and the whimsical designs of L.A.’s more recent insurgence. There’s nary an antler chandelier in sight. Industry honchos, their arm candy, and overwhelmed hotel guests lounge in middle-of-the-room booths or stylish swivel chairs. Stellar service is synchronized, polite and polished

sushi yamamoto

Sushi Yamamoto

This tiny but ultra-exclusive restaurant is surrounded by the shopping Mecca of Beverly Hills. It is also the one of the most expensive restaurants in L.A. Still, everyone who goes, from stars like Madonna to top Japanese business people, insists that it is worth every cent. The sushi is the freshest outside of Tokyo and is shipped in from there daily. Since there’s no menu, it is hard to tell exactly what chef-owner Masa Takayama is serving. Regardless, this singular dining experience will be perfectly presented and remembered forever. Reservations are absolutely required, and must be made well in advance.
